You can turn the rotary switch clockwise or anticlockwise to adjust the sound. You can also use a earphone plugging it into the device. If this way can't help, the device seems to be defective. It is mainly used to find open circuit, short circuit, etc. After switching to Mode 2, it is normal that the main unit screen does not light up. In this mode, please make sure the breaker finder has fresh battery installed and the right dial is set to the maximum. In addition, make sure the red and black clips are correctly clamped on the wire to be tested.
We'd like to clarify that the V200 Pro does have the ability to detect whether a circuit is shorted or not, but it is not designed to pinpoint the exact location of the short. To use this function correctly, the red and black alligator clips need to be attached to the wire or circuit you wish to test and then use the device to perform.
Yes. Mode II-breaker Tester is powered by 1pcs 9V Battery. Please check whether the battery is normal before use. When this part is unused, suggested to remove the battery directly to avoid draining the battery power.
