VdiagTool diagnostic tablets now support independent language switching. Users can adjust the system language directly through the tablet settings, eliminating the need for technical assistance.
Below, you’ll find the applicable requirements and a step-by-step guide for using this function.
Feature Availability & Requirements
1. System Version Requirement
This function is available on tablets running system version V5.7.58 or later.
Please ensure your device is updated to the required version to enable self-managed language switching.
2. Newly Purchased Diagnostic Tablets
For VdiagTool diagnostic tablets purchased from today onward, language settings can be adjusted directly within the system settings.
After selecting a preferred language:
- The system will automatically download the corresponding language package.
- Once the download is complete, the interface will immediately switch to the selected language.
A stable internet connection is required during the download process.
3. Previously Purchased Diagnostic Tablets
For tablets purchased prior to this update, availability depends on the device’s language modification history:

Devices with previous language changes
If the tablet’s language was modified in the past, please contact our after-sales technical team to activate the self-service language management feature. -
Devices using factory-default language settings
If the language has never been changed, simply upgrading the system to V5.7.58 or later will unlock the independent language switching function.

4. Supported Tablet Models
This feature is supported exclusively on VdiagTool diagnostic tablets, including the following models:
- VD70
- VD70S
- VD70 Lite
- VD80BT Lite
- VD80 BT
Other VdiagTool devices are not compatible with this feature at this time.
How to Change the Language on Your Diagnostic Tablet
Follow the steps below to switch the system language on your supported device:
- Verify that your tablet is updated to system version V5.7.58 or later.
- Open the Settings application on your tablet.
- Navigate to the Language settings option.
- Select your desired language from the available list.
- The system will automatically apply the change.
- If a language package needs to be downloaded, ensure the tablet is connected to a stable network.
5. Once completed, the entire system interface will be displayed in the selected language.
This update allows users to customize their diagnostic tablets quickly and independently, delivering a more flexible and user-friendly experience—especially for global and multilingual workshops.
