Auto Electrical Troubleshooting Tool

V210 circuit breaker finder tool comes with transmitter and receiver LEDs showing open or short circuit conditions. The Built-in buzzer sound of the signal receiver helps you immediately and easily locate open connections, broken wires, current leaks, and even trace wires. Note: Signal strength affects volume. If the sound is low, try adjusting the probe position to find a stronger signal for accurate detection.

Please note that V210 Electrical Circuit Tracer is an entry-level tester and can only roughly determine the short circuit area through sound signals but the exact short point in multiple and complex wires. Any issue before or after purchase, please check with us!

tone & trace wires on common circuit system

Tone & Trace Wires Faster with the V210’s Dual Diagnostic Modes

The V210 offers versatile functionality with two distinct modes for enhanced diagnostics. In TONE Mode, users can effortlessly trace wires across common circuit systems and quickly locate open circuits—just as illustrated in the diagram, making it easy to pinpoint hidden faults. Meanwhile, CONT Mode enables continuity testing and short circuit detection, ensuring that you can efficiently diagnose and address a full range of electrical issues. This dual-mode capability makes the V210 an invaluable tool for any technician or DIY enthusiast, streamlining your workflow and reducing time spent troubleshooting.

flexible probe for accurate & safe test

Fast, Accurate Automotive Electrical Fault Detection

This circuit breaker finder uses transmitter and receiver LEDs to clearly indicate open or short circuit conditions, while a built-in buzzer helps you instantly locate broken wires, current leaks, and trace wires with ease. It also lets you diagnose intermittent short circuit issues by flexing wires and listening for tone changes, without damaging insulation, and features adjustable sensitivity plus a flexible 7” probe for precise testing.

Note: This electrical circuit tracer comes with 2pcs 9V Batteries for receiver & transmitter. When the signal is not strong enough, the volume will be low in the receiver, please find a strong signal and try to turn the signal up to the highest level; checking whether the battery power is sufficient at the same time, since it will effect the tool working properly. When the V210 wire locator is not used, please leave it in the OFF position or remove the batteries directly to avoid draining the power.

wide application range

Wide Voltage Compatibility (DC 6V–42V)

FAQs-V210

How can I locate the short point?

The V210 can only detect whether the wire is short or not. It can't locate the exact point. We are sorry about that and we will continue to optimize our product.

Does this wire locator come with batteries?

No. This auto electrical toner generator and probe kit does not come with 2 pcs 9V batteries for the receiver and transmitter. When the tool is unused, please remove the batteries directly to avoid draining the power.

Why is the volume still low when I turn the signal up to the highest level? What Can I do?

1. When the signal is not strong enough, the volume will be low, please find a strong signal and try it out; 2. The battery power supply is insufficient, please replace the battery and try again. If the issue still occurs, please reach us directly.

Can this cable toner and probe kit accurately locate the short circuit point?

Sorry, it can't, only for the short area. We recommend that you use a more professional short circuit test instrument, such as a short circuit tester equipped with a needle meter so that you can find the short circuit point more accurately.

Why 210 wire tracer electrical can't locate the short point accurately?

V210 is an entry-level tester and can only roughly determine the short circuit area but also the short point. When testing multiple and complex wires, locating the short circuit point based on sound is easily affected by other lines.
