MODE 2 Breaker Finder
When the VdiagTool V500 Pro 2-in-1 Car Power Circuit Probe Kit Breaker Finder Tester switches to mode 2, it is equivalent to V210, with 3 test methods:
Locate Open Circuits:
Open Wire Detector instantly detects and alerts you to open circuits. Easily locate short circuits, broken wires, open connections, current leaks, and trace wires. Transmitter and receiver LEDs indicate open or short circuit conditions.
Wire Tracing:
Easy to use by just simply connecting the transmitter in series with the circuit or wire under test, (i.e.: in place of a blown fuse, across a connector, in series with an open wire, a light bulb socket, etc.), and scanning the circuit/wire with the tracers flexible probe to find the trouble spot.
Check Short Circuits (Switch to MODE 1 to use resistance measurement)
